In different fields, there are conferences available for the benefits of the Practitioners of said field. But somehow that is not what is happening in NLP. Various NLP Conferences globally seem to promote NLP trainers and their associates (of a particular NLP accreditation body), or make money inviting trainers who are not even worth listening to. Having said that, a good NLP conference in India is a distant dream, as NLP training in India itself is of suspect quality (most of the time) with NLP trainers claiming to be what they are not.

There have been a few NLP Conferences in India (that have come up in the recent past) which are linked to NLP institutes making claims about their research in the field of NLP (not naming those institutes here, as the purpose is not to shame anyone). Interestingly, NLP trainers from these institutes invariably have fake credentials (fake credentials = untrained trainers/ forged experience/ false showcasing of photos/ other things to misrepresent facts). A few other NLP Conference in India are being promoted by NLP Trainers linked to specific NLP associations. These conferences are busy promoting NLP Trainers who are not renowned NLP Trainers in India, nor belong to the field of NLP. It would seem that the idea of such NLP Conferences would be to piggyback on some of the trainers who have been invited from outside of India, with the whole purpose of selling their expensive courses to Indian participants.

Such NLP Conferences defeats the learning experience of NLP, as a small session does not provide enough NLP experience, and the courses that are being promoted may not be apt for the conference participant.  Nonetheless, these are promoted in a fierce manner, using the language of influence, or other selling techniques to influence people. The conference participants are being coaxed into getting into a Master Class ~ which are generally promoted during these conferences.

Hopefully, NLP Conferences in India in the near future, will be promoted in an ethical manner (which in the NLP World is a distant dream as I mentioned earlier, considering how most of the NLPers behave with one another, and the big egos of NLP Trainers and Business conflicts), by bringing in the Top NLP Trainers of India together on one stage.

If you are an NLP participant looking to attend an NLP conference in India, make sure you are aware why you are attending an NLP conference in India, as it might be a biased one and tilted towards a particular set of NLP Trainers in India. You may be better off doing your due research to look for the Best NLP Trainer in India, their credentials and work done, before you commit to attending an NLP Training at an NLP Conference in India.
